How to Install libaio1 software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

libaio1 software package provides Linux kernel AIO access library - shared library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libaio1

libaio1 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libaio1 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libaio1 *

You will get with libaio1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
